DESIGNER: Denise Costantino, IDAL
Denise Costantino is a master fine artist and decorative painter. Her artistic talents expand over 30 years in many facets of the arts, including original high-end jacquard textile designs, surface design, works on paper, canvas, commissioned wall murals and decorative specialty finishes. In 2003, Denise formed D&D Architectural Design, forging a solid rapport with clients, designers, and the artisans' community. She is a proud member of IDAL, Metropolitan Artisans NY/NJ IDAL chapter and SCBWI. Her artworks are featured in the House & Garden, NJ Design Magazine, Nutley Neighbors, Bathroom Trends, Show Houses including Mansion in May. As well as; children's book; "Sweetie's Search for a Forever Home in the Garden State" and Saving Catherine." Costantino has shared her talents with local schools and libraries, teaching youths about art, and illustration through her book signings. Denise earned a BFA from William Paterson University in Illustration and Design. Continued design studies abroad in gilding, decorative trompe L oeil, art, and architecture in Italy. Her design services include decorative painting and restoration, color palette selection, design renderings, and sketches. DESINGER: Jodi Heinz, IDAL
Jodi Heinz is a fine and decorative artist who has been providing services to clients for over 35 years. With a BFA in Fine Arts from Syracuse University, as well as an interior design certificate from Parsons School of Design, Jodi possesses a great ability to create unique finishes for walls, furniture and fabric. Her designs have graced many beautiful homes and offices. She is a past designer at Stark Carpet, and has created colorways, repeats and designs for Thibaut, Schumacher and other textile firms. Jodi's paint and plaster work are often embellished with various materials to give a tactile element to her designs, and also creates in bas relief. She is the 2023 President of the International Decorative Artisans League (IDAL), and has served on its executive board for 4 years. She is also IDAL's local chapter president, which is Metropolitan Artisans, the group which brings you MIM Monet's Studio. IDAL exists to strengthen the decorative arts, providing support and education from the best in the industry, and also provides insurance for its members. DESIGNER: Aliya Riaz, IDAL
Aliya Riaz is passionate about the decorative arts - from its rich history and traditional forms to the way it can be adapted into today's decor. She learned age old classical painting techniques as part of an intensive City and Guilds course in England and brings a European flair to her projects -both commercial and residential. Under the umbrella of her company Portfauxlio Inc., Aliya delights in bringing to life what her clients envision for their spaces. She also has a unique sense and love of color which benefits not just her clientèle but also the designers and architects she frequently collaborates with. This is the 8th Mansion in May that Aliya has participated in.

Victor Caruncho, Master Artisan
Victor is the owner of Paragon Design of West Nyack, NY. He specializes in a variety of custom Faux Finishes, Decorative Painting, Murals and Stenciling and creates some of the finest professional and unique finishes for the home or business.He holds a degree in Architectural Drafting and has worked with many reputable firms using Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CAAD) programs, as well as hand drawn designs. His original and creative work can be seen throughout the Tri-State area and Florida.
Dean Sickler
Dean’s expertise has taken him and his artisans around the world restoring and developing finishes in many styles from antique to contemporary. He has worked/studied under a multitude of masters such as Emilio Cianfoni (Chief Conservator-Vizcaya), Yannick Guegan (Handbook of Painted Decoration), Joanne Day (Day Studio, San Francisco) and many others. For the last 20 years, Dean has taught workshops and lectured across the country in color, design and finishing. He has been helping the profession by taking leadership positions in the Painting and Decorating Contractors of American, the International Decorative Artisans League and The Professional Decorative Painters Association. He still regularly demonstrates in many foreign countries as a member of the International Salon of Decorative Painters.
Kerri Walsh
Kerri has been a decorative artisan and venetian plasterer for 27 years. She attended FIT in NYC for Interior Design. She continues honing her skills from leading decorative painting masters and artisans around the country, bringing excellence to her clients and designers. Kerri is diverse in multiple applications including specialty plasters, lime washes, cement, metallics, and Tadelakt, an ancient waterproof lime plaster finish which can be used in showers. She is also versed in faux wood graining and faux marble. She uses her finishes on plaster fireplaces, range hoods, and also repaints kitchen cabinets.
