The Lillie House

Jillian McFadyen is a passionate gardener + florist inspired by the profound beauty of the natural world. She recently returned home to Mendham after managing an 11-acre flower farm in Virginia for six years to share with her community the beauty that is possible through local, sustainable flowers. Planted in the Spring of 2021, The Lillie House was born out of a labor of love. The cutting gardens are a reflection of Jillians admiration for English country gardens and the beauty of the changing seasons. In the production garden next-door, she grows and harvests a wealth of flowers and foliage to create naturalistic designs full of texture+ movement. The Lillie House hopes to cultivate change in the floral industry by offering our community a conscious choice. A choice that supports local growers & our environment. The Lillie House feels strongly that flowers need not be shipped from across the world when we can grow them in our own backyards. We know better, so we will do better.
