2012 Mansion in May
Exeeding all previous attendance records, Mansion in May 2012 hosted over 27,000 visitors at the historic Glynallyn Castle in Morris Township. Glynallyn also attracted more volunteer support than ever before, with over 1,200 volunteers participating.
Thanks to our visitors and the outstanding support of our sponsors, interior and landscape designers, volunteers, media friends, and service providers, Mansion in May 2012 earned a record-breaking profit of $1.3 million to benefit the new Inpatient Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Morristown Medical Center. Construction of the new 11-bed center is scheduled to begin early in 2013, and is expected to be competed within 18 months. Dr. Karen Knops will be the medical director of the new center, to be named the Weinestein Family Inpatient Hospice and Palliative Care Center. "The new inpatient center would not have been possible without the extraordinary support of the Women's Association," said Dr. Knops.
Thank you to all who helped make Mansion in May 2012 such a resounding success!
